During Autodesk Revit MEP basic training, you will learn about the many aspects of Revit MEP. MEP stands for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing and is used for modeling engineering, electrical and piping systems, among other things. During this course you will learn how to automatically update cross-sections, views, and count lists, among other things.
The course is taught by an experienced and certified trainer at one of the ICN Training Center’s training locations. This training will last 4 days and afterwards you will receive an Autodesk certificate to prove that you are skilled in Autodesk Revit MEP. Training days are always from 9:30am to 4:00pm and coffee, tea, and lunch are included in the price.

Training Information
This training is conducted by a certified trainer through ICN Training Center at one of their training locations.
Training duration:
This training lasts 4 days from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Prerequisite Knowledge:
This training is aimed at beginners, so knowledge of Revit is not required. You do need experience with Microsoft Windows.

- Each training room has complete CAD workstations for the students. These are equipped with the Autodesk software required for the training.

Training content
The Revit MEP course includes instruction on how to work and BIM, basic commands in Revit and exploring the User Interface. Other topics include opening and viewing Revit projects, managing linked models, copying and monitoring objects, setting up levels, creating and duplicating views, adding Callouts views and setting up views.
In addition, the course includes general information about MEP systems, working with components, creating and analyzing systems, using filters and connecting components. Furthermore, it teaches duct and pipe systems tools, how to create spaces, zones, legends and electrical diagrams, and how to work with dimensioning and text.
Finally, the course includes topics such as preparing an energy analysis of a project, analyzing heat and cooling loads, exporting data and creating schematics for HVAC systems and sprinkler systems.
