Features of the CADmouse Pro
- Ergonomic design:
3Dconnexion’s CADmouse Pro is designed in a sloping shape that creates a more natural position for your hand. This reduces the discomfort in your muscles and tendons that often occurs when using traditional mice. In addition, it has a curved thumb rest so you can place your thumb in a natural position and have easy access to the thumb buttons. Also, the three main buttons have a hollowed-out design, shaped to bring the fingertips to their ideal position. - Additional main button:
The mouse features an additional middle mouse button specifically for CAD users who need a third button to access their application functions. - Smart Mouse Wheel 2:
The CADmouse Pro features adjustable smart scrolling speed in documents and browsers. This makes it quick and easy to find specific pages in documents with many pages. - QuickZoom:
The buttons on the side of the mouse allow you to quickly and easily zoom in and out of your drawing with your thumb. You can even refine the zoom level by holding down the button. - Access to radial menu:
The button below the scroll wheel allows you to open a radial menu in your CAD software. This menu gives you quick access to your favorite commands. The 3DxWare 10 software allows you to customize the radial menus and the functions in them to your liking. - PTFE feet:
The polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) feet under the mouse ensure that your CADmouse makes smooth, precise movements. The feet are wear-resistant and have low friction, making them last longer than the average mouse.
