The course is taught by an experienced and certified trainer at one of the ICN Training Center’s training locations. This training will last for 2 days and afterwards you will receive an Autodesk certificate to prove that you are skilled in Autodesk AutoCAD (LT). Training days are always from 9:30am to 4:00pm and coffee, tea, and lunch are included in the price.

Training Information

This training is conducted by a certified trainer from ICN Training Center at one of their training locations.

Training duration:

This training will last for 2 days from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Prerequisite Knowledge:

This course is aimed at experienced users of AutoCAD. This course deepens the knowledge related to the capabilities of AutoCAD.

Included in the price:

Autodesk teaching materials.
Each training room has complete CAD workstations for the students. These are equipped with the Autodesk software required for the training.
Coffee, tea, soft drinks and water.
Lunch.
Autodesk Certificate.
Opportunity to ask questions up to 1 month after the training.

Training content

During this training you will learn several topics, including:

Symbols: You will learn how to create and modify blocks and dynamic blocks and how to draw parametrically. You will also learn how to link information to blocks, such as Attributes / Fields, and how to store block information for a parts list. Furthermore, you will learn how to interface AutoCAD with Word and Excel.
Customizing: You will learn how to customize AutoCAD to your needs by setting AutoCAD Options, creating your own dropdown menus, toolbars and macros (CUI) and setting up workspaces. You will also learn how to make hatches.
Drawing commands: You will learn to work with XRefs and External Manager.
View Settings: You will learn how to use partial open options and work with Named Views.
Database Links: You will get an introduction to databases and learn how to link them with AutoCAD. You will also learn to work with the DBConnect Dialogue Box.
CAD Standards: You will learn to work with the Layer Translator and configure standards and batch checker. You will also learn how to work with Layer States.
Automation: You will learn how to work with the Action Recorder and how to create simple macros.
