During Autodesk Navisworks Manage basic training, you will gain an understanding of the coordination process. For example, you will learn about data transfer, geometric analysis, model navigation, and communication (internal & external). You will also learn to create correct Search Sets according to common model standards.
The course is taught by an experienced and certified trainer at one of the ICN Training Center’s training locations. This training will last for 2 days and afterwards you will receive an Autodesk certificate to prove that you are skilled in Autodesk Navisworks Manage. Training days are always from 9:30am to 4:00pm and coffee, tea, and lunch are included in the price.

Training Information
This training is conducted by a certified trainer through ICN Training Center at one of their training locations.
Training duration:
This training will last for 2 days from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Prerequisite Knowledge:
This course is aimed at beginners, so knowledge of Navisworks is not required. You do need experience with Microsoft Windows, Autodesk Software and the BIM philosophy.

- Each training room has complete CAD workstations for the students. These are equipped with the Autodesk software required for the training.

Training content
The Navisworks Manage Basics course covers the basics of Autodesk Navisworks. It covers the user interface and how to open files. It explains what NWC, NWF and NWD file formats are and why you should use an NWF. Also discussed are object enablers and the Autodesk Navisworks NWC export utility.
We also cover how to move through the model, set up cameras, and render the model realistically. Other topics include tags, comments, measuring, selecting and searching, and working with projects. We also cover clash detection, including rules, results, groups, display settings and reporting.
