The course is taught by an experienced and certified trainer at one of the ICN Training Center’s training locations. This training lasts 4 days and afterwards you will receive an Autodesk certificate to prove that you are skilled in Autodesk Revit. Training days are always from 9:30am to 4:00pm and coffee, tea, and lunch are included in the price.

Training Information

This training is conducted by a certified trainer from ICN Training Center at one of their training locations.

Training duration:

This training lasts 4 days from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Prerequisite Knowledge:

This course is aimed at beginners, so knowledge of Autodesk Revit is not required. You do need experience with Microsoft Windows.

Included in the price:

Dutch language teaching materials.
Each training room has complete CAD workstations for the students. These are equipped with the Autodesk software required for the training.
Coffee, tea, soft drinks and water.
Lunch.
Autodesk Certificate.
Opportunity to ask questions up to 1 month after the training.

Training content

This course covers various topics related to Revit:

User Interface: we cover basic settings, navigation and different Family types, such as system, loadable and in-place. The BIM process within Revit is also discussed.
Setting up a Revit project: learn about topics such as views, grids, building levels/levels and materials.
Layout of structural elements: such as Foundations, floors, walls (composite walls and loosely modeled wall layers), roofs, stairs, windows, curtain walls and doors.
2D Detailing in Revit: learn linking 2D CAD files, detailing through Revit features, building masses and setting up building elements to mass.
Loadable Families: learn how to create a frame family and how to build parametrically.
Schedules: discover how to create, filter and sort them.
Areas & Rooms: including floor plans and calculations of areas, perimeters and volumes.
Creating Sheets: with basic setup such as frame/paper sizes and lower right corner, placing views on sheets and printing sheets (printing and exporting to PDF).
Photo and video output: with topics such as image and animation.
